With his last full-length effort, the soon-to-be quadruple platinum 400 Degreez, still smoldering on the charts, Juvenile is fanning the flames of his success once again with the release of Tha G-Code. A product of New Orleans' infamous Magnolia projects, Juvenile, born Terius Gray, has ascended way above sea level over the last 15 years. Tha G-Code is the fourth studio album by American rapperJuvenile. The album was released December 14, 1999,[1] on Cash Money Records.[11] It features the hit singles, 'U Understand' and 'I Got That Fire'.

The album wasn't as successful as his previous album, 400 Degreez, but it did reach number 10 on the US Billboard 200 with first week sales of over 290,000 copies and also topped the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart during the first week of 2000. The album was also certified Platinum by the RIAA on January 24, 2000 for sales of one million copies, and went on to sale 2,000,000 worldwide.
